At Laverty Log Homes we fill each notch and lateral groove with specially treated wool insulation and a double gasket to prevent air or moisture infiltration. All logs and timber will be stained with a high quality stain or timber treatment. When we construct a home on your lot, all electric holes will be drilled and door and window openings cut and prepped for door or window installation.
It takes anywhere from 2 to 4 months to complete an average shell, once the drawings are finished and approved. We encourage clients to contact us as early as possible in the planning stages of their home, so that we may give helpful counsel and ensure timely delivery.
