Located in southern Ontario, we offer handcrafted log & timber construction services for any type of project in North America, from building custom log or heavy timber stairs to the construction of cottages, homes and lodges.
Laverty Log Homes is an active member in good standing of the International Log Builders’ Association (ILBA). We believe in and support building log homes that meet or exceed the ILBA standards and best practices for log home construction.

At Laverty Log Homes, we believe that the soul of a log or timber home comes from the time and care spent creating it as if it were a piece of art. We pride ourselves on our unique hands-on approach to every aspect of handcrafted log construction.
We are passionate about our handcrafted work.
We only employ a handful of well-trained handcrafted log & timber frame builders who work efficiently, but with great care. If a log does not fit perfectly, we are not finished or satisfied until it does. As Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475 - 1564) - the great Italian architect, painter, and sculptor - said, “Trifles go to make perfection, and perfection is no trifle.”
We are so confident in the quality of our handcrafted log & timber work that our owner and his family live in a Laverty Log Homes house, constructed the same way we will build for you – carefully and passionately by hand and with soul.
